Getting started

1. Create your account

Sign up with your email (or Google) and upload your CV. Our AI reads your CV to understand your background and pre-fill parts of your profile.

2. Build your profile

The more complete your profile, the better your matches. It also drives important filters:

• Target job titles, industry, and locations shape which roles you're matched to.
• Visa and sponsorship status lets us filter to employers licensed to sponsor, so you don't waste applications.
• Skills, experience, and education help the AI score how well each role fits you.

How NextRole works

• AI matching: our system scans live UK vacancies and scores them against your background, so you see roles you're genuinely qualified for.
• A real Career Agent (managed plans): a person reviews each match, tailors your CV and cover letter, and submits the application for you. Nothing is auto-sent — a human checks it first.
• Self-service plans: we prepare matched roles and tailored materials, and you apply yourself.
• Live tracking: every application and its status appears in your dashboard, so nothing disappears into a black hole.

Plans and what's included

NextRole offers tiered monthly plans, from self-service (you apply) to fully managed (a Career Agent applies for you). Each plan has monthly quotas for matches and applications. See the pricing page for current tiers and prices. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time.

Connecting your job boards (managed plans)

So a Career Agent can apply on your behalf, you can securely connect your accounts on job boards. Your credentials are encrypted at rest and every access is logged. You can remove a connected account at any time from your settings.

Applications

• Every application is tailored to the specific role — a CV and cover letter written for that job, designed to read well to both people and applicant tracking systems.
• On managed plans you can review the tailored materials, and a Career Agent submits them for you.
• Track statuses (submitted, viewed, response, interview) live, and see weekly summaries of your search.

Visa sponsorship

If you need sponsorship, set that in your profile. NextRole can prioritise employers that are licensed to sponsor, so your applications go to roles that can actually hire you.

Interview preparation

Practise for interviews with guided question-and-answer sessions tailored to your target roles. Questions can be read aloud so it feels more like a real interview; if voice isn't available it falls back to your browser's built-in voice.

The website assistant

The chat assistant on our website can answer questions about how NextRole works and pricing, capture your details, book a call, connect you with a real person, or continue the conversation on WhatsApp.

Billing and subscriptions

• Payments are handled securely by Stripe.
• Subscriptions renew monthly until you cancel; cancelling stops future charges from the next period.
• If you hit a plan quota, upgrade to continue that activity in the current period.

Your data and privacy

You control your data. Connected job-board credentials are encrypted and can be removed at any time, and you can request access to or deletion of your data. See our Privacy Policy for full detail.

FAQ

Will employers know NextRole applied for me?

Your Career Agent tailors and submits applications to represent you accurately and professionally, the same way a career coach or recruiter would. Nothing is auto-generated spam; every submission is reviewed by a person before it goes out.

Is it fully automated?

No. AI finds and drafts; on managed plans a real Career Agent reviews and submits. You can always ask a human to step in.

Do you guarantee interviews or a job?

No. We maximise the quality and volume of well-targeted applications, but we can't guarantee interviews, offers, or employment.

Is my job-board password safe?

Yes — connected usernames, passwords, and session cookies are encrypted at rest and access to them is logged. You can remove them whenever you like.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel before your renewal date and you won't be charged for the next period.

Which job market does NextRole cover?

NextRole is built for the UK job market, including people who need visa sponsorship, are changing careers, or are returning to work.
